Marine Major Megan Malia-Leilani McClung was born on 14 April 1972 in Hawaii and was killed in action on 6 December 2006 in Ramadi, Iraq, with Army Captain Travis Patriquin and Specialist Vincent Pomante. She was many things to many people -- daughter, athlete, leader. The significance of who she was is not limited to the years she spent on earth but may be measured by the causes for which she lived and the numerous lives she touched and influenced for time and eternity. Her memory shall live on in those who knew her, respected her, followed her, and loved her. She will never be forgotten. This collection of files were gathered from many of her friends and fellow Marines, and are provided as a means of paying tribute to her and the life she lived.

This is beautiful--thank you for sharing it with me. Funny how life works sometimes, as I am traveling from New York to Virginia next week. I will make sure that I pay a visit Megan's grave at Arlington while I am there.

Be well,
